Bright Minds International School provides a Cambridge-curriculum education from kindergarten through to Advanced Level, combining rigorous academics with sports, arts, and community service on a green lakeside campus along Kandy Road.
Academic Programme
The school follows the Cambridge International curriculum from Primary through IGCSE and A-Level stages. Instruction is delivered in English, with Sinhala and Tamil offered as second-language options from Grade 1. Class sizes are capped at twenty-five students to ensure individual attention, and the teaching staff includes both local educators and internationally trained instructors.
- Cambridge Primary (Grades 1–5) with integrated STEM activities
- Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE (Grades 6–11)
- Cambridge A-Level streams in Sciences, Commerce, and Arts
- Dedicated IT lab with coding workshops from Grade 3
- Library with over 8 000 titles in English, Sinhala, and Tamil
Sports and Extra-Curricular
The campus features a full-size cricket pitch, a multi-purpose court for netball and basketball, and a 25-metre swimming pool. After-school clubs run from 2:45 PM to 4:00 PM daily and cover debating, Western and Kandyan dance, chess, robotics, and environmental science. The school’s cricket team competes in the regional inter-school league and won the under-15 district championship in 2024.

Education is not only about exam results. We want every child who leaves Bright Minds to be curious, confident, and ready to contribute to their community.
